Everything you need to install Dropomatic, list your first Amazon product to eBay, keep price and stock in sync, and manage your account. Can't find it here? Email support@dropomatic.com.
Getting started
Five steps from install to your first published listing. Dropomatic works inside your own Chrome, so a few things need to be true before a run can go.
1
Install the extension
Add Dropomatic to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it so the toolbar icon stays visible. Dropomatic is a Manifest V3 Chrome extension — it runs on your own machine, not a cloud service.
2
Start your trial and sign in
Choose a plan on dropomatic.com to begin your 7-day free trial. A payment method is collected up front but is not charged until the trial ends. Open the extension and sign in with the same email — one login covers the site and the extension.
3
Sign in to Amazon and eBay
In the same Chrome profile, make sure you are logged in to both Amazon and eBay. Dropomatic acts inside the sessions you are already signed into — it never asks for a marketplace password or API token.
4
Add your AI provider key
In Settings, paste your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter key. The Auto Lister uses it to write titles, descriptions, and item specifics. You pay the provider directly at cost, with no markup — a running token and spend ledger shows exactly what each listing costs.
5
List your first product
Open an Amazon product, send it to the Auto Lister, review the generated eBay listing, and publish. Review your first few listings by hand before letting bulk runs go unattended — generated text can be wrong, and a published listing is your listing.
What each tool does
Auto Lister
Turns an Amazon product link into a ready-to-publish eBay listing. It cleans the title, writes a description and item specifics with your AI key, and prices the listing from your rules.
Review generated content before publishing — you are responsible for what goes live under your seller account.
A listing credit is reserved while the listing is being created and only consumed once eBay confirms it is live.
Product Research
Helps you find Amazon products worth listing so you are not sourcing blind. Use it to build a shortlist, then send items to the Auto Lister.
Tracker
Watches the Amazon price and stock on products you have listed and safely updates the matching eBay listing when they change.
It deliberately ignores coupon and limited-time discount prices so a temporary deal does not trigger a false price change.
If an Amazon item goes out of stock, the tracker acts to protect you from selling something you can no longer source.
Offer Checker
Reviews incoming eBay offers and surfaces them for you. It is read-only by design — it never accepts or declines an offer automatically. You stay in control of every negotiation.
Fulfillment
Assists placing the Amazon order when an eBay item sells, then records the order against your profit dashboard.
Manual approval is the default. Dropomatic records a durable purchase lock before submitting an order so it will not double-order.
If the outcome of a submission is ever unknown, the order is set aside for manual review and is never retried automatically — check it in the dashboard and complete it yourself.
Profit dashboard
Tracks your orders, costs, and margins in one place so you can see how each flip actually performed after fees. Order data is stored per store profile.
Multiple store profiles
Run more than one eBay store from a single workspace by linking additional accounts to your subscription. Marketplaces generally permit multiple accounts held openly and in good standing — see the Acceptable Use Policy for what is and is not allowed.
Billing & account
Your free trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A valid card is required to begin, but it is not charged when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected monthly plan begins automatically. Cancelling during the trial avoids any charge and does not delete your listings or account data.
Listing credits
Your plan includes a monthly listing allowance.
One credit is consumed only after eBay confirms a listing is live — never for a failed attempt.
A credit is reserved while a listing is being created and released automatically if it does not go live.
Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Bonus credits granted separately are permanent and are kept across renewals.
Manage billing yourself
Open Manage billing in your account dashboard to update your card, download invoices, switch plans, or cancel. It opens Stripe's secure portal — no email or phone call needed. Charges from Dropomatic appear on your statement as DROPOMATIC.
Password reset
Password reset is code-based for security. Request a reset, then enter the emailed code in the extension. The code is never placed in a link or your browser history.
A listing did not publish and I was not charged a credit.
That is expected — a credit is only consumed after eBay confirms the listing is live, and the reservation is released on any failed attempt. If eBay showed an error (often a missing required item specific), fix it and try again.
A run stopped partway through.
Dropomatic automates your real browser, so it cannot work while the machine is asleep or Chrome is closed. Keep the computer awake and Chrome open during listing, tracking, and fulfillment runs — a paused run resumes when the machine wakes.
The Tracker ignored an Amazon price drop.
That is intentional. The Tracker ignores coupon and limited-time discount prices to avoid reacting to temporary deals, and follows the real listed Amazon price instead.
The Auto Lister is not generating titles or descriptions.
Check Settings: confirm your OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter key is entered, that the correct provider is selected, and that the key still has quota or credit with that provider. The spend ledger will show whether requests are going through.
I am signed out, or my listings will not load.
Confirm you are signed in to the extension, and to both Amazon and eBay in the same Chrome profile. Signing back in restores your session and data.
An order was left for manual review.
When the result of an Amazon order submission is uncertain, Dropomatic never retries it automatically, to avoid double-ordering. Open the order in your dashboard, confirm whether it went through on Amazon, and complete it manually.
Frequently asked questions
What is Dropomatic?
A Chrome extension, with a companion site at dropomatic.com, that automates an Amazon-to-eBay resale workflow: it prepares and submits eBay listings, keeps price and stock in sync, surfaces offers, assists fulfillment, and tracks profit — all inside your own logged-in browser sessions.
Which marketplaces does it support?
Amazon to eBay only, on the .com, .co.uk, and .ca sites. It is not built for other suppliers or marketplaces.
Do I need to leave my computer on?
Yes. Dropomatic runs inside Chrome on your machine, using the eBay and Amazon sessions you are already signed into — it is not a cloud service holding your credentials. If your computer sleeps, the run pauses and picks up when it wakes.
Do I hand over my eBay or Amazon account?
No. Dropomatic never asks for marketplace passwords or API tokens. It is a Chrome extension acting inside the browser sessions you are already signed into, on your machine. Close Chrome and it has access to nothing.
Is Amazon-to-eBay dropshipping allowed?
eBay's policy prohibits sourcing from another retailer that ships directly to your buyer. Plenty of sellers do it anyway, and plenty get their accounts restricted for it. We are not going to pretend that risk does not exist. Read eBay's dropshipping policy before you start, and decide with your eyes open.
What does the AI cost?
You bring your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter, so you pay the provider directly at cost with no markup from us. Dropomatic shows a running token and spend ledger on your machine so you can see exactly what each listing costs.
How much money will I make?
We do not know, and we will not pretend to. Margins on retail arbitrage are thin, and outcomes depend on what you list, your category's fees, and your returns. Anyone quoting you a monthly income number is guessing with your money — see the earnings page for our honest take.
Do listing credits roll over?
Plan credits refresh each billing cycle and do not carry over to the next month. Bonus credits granted outside a plan are separate and permanent — they stay on your account across renewals.
Can I run more than one eBay store?
Yes. You can link several accounts to one subscription and operate multiple stores from a single workspace. Do not use linked accounts to work around a suspension, restriction, or selling limit — that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy.
What happens after the trial?
A card is required to begin the seven-day trial, but it is not charged when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected monthly plan begins automatically. Cancelling does not delete your listings or account data.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel any time from Manage billing and keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. Because there is a free trial before any charge, monthly payments are generally non-refundable once the period begins — but if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or Dropomatic was materially broken, contact us and we will make it right. See the refund policy for details.
