Acceptable Use Policy

Your marketplace accounts are yours

Dropomatic runs inside your own Chrome browser, using the eBay and Amazon sessions you are already signed into. It never receives your marketplace passwords or API tokens.

Every action it takes is taken as you, on your account, under your name. You remain fully responsible for those accounts and everything done through them.

Marketplace policy is your responsibility

eBay's dropshipping policy prohibits sourcing an item from another retailer and having that retailer ship directly to your buyer. That is the workflow Dropomatic automates. Sellers do this widely, and sellers do have accounts restricted for it.

We say this on our home page, in onboarding, and here, because you should decide with your eyes open. Read eBay's policy yourself before you start.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of every marketplace, supplier, and service you use. If your account is restricted, suspended, or closed, that outcome is yours, and Dropomatic is not liable for lost sales, lost inventory, or lost income arising from it.

You must not use Dropomatic to

• List counterfeit, stolen, recalled, or otherwise illegal goods.
• List items that infringe another party's intellectual property, including items covered by eBay's VeRO programme.
• List regulated goods you are not licensed to sell, including hazardous materials, weapons, pharmaceuticals, and age-restricted products.
• Evade a marketplace suspension, restriction, or selling limit, including by creating additional accounts for that purpose.
• Misrepresent an item's condition, origin, location, or delivery time to a buyer.
• Take any action that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or the buyer's.

Multiple accounts

Dropomatic supports linking several accounts to one subscription so you can operate more than one store from a single workspace. Marketplaces generally permit multiple accounts held openly and in good standing.

They do not permit additional accounts created to work around a suspension, a restriction, or a selling limit. Using the linking feature for that purpose is a breach of this policy and grounds for us to close your Dropomatic account.

Automation limits

• Do not use Dropomatic in a way that overloads a marketplace's systems or interferes with their normal operation.
• Respect selling limits and listing quotas rather than attempting to circumvent them.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to Dropomatic, or share one subscription across unrelated businesses.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the extension's source for competing use.

AI-generated listing content

Titles, descriptions, and item specifics are generated using your own AI provider key. You are responsible for reviewing what is published under your seller account. Generated text can be inaccurate, and an inaccurate listing is your listing.

Review your first listings by hand before letting bulk runs go unattended.

Enforcement

We may suspend or close a Dropomatic account that breaches this policy, and we may do so without notice where a breach is unlawful or exposes other users to risk.

Where a breach is genuinely accidental, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to correct it first.

If you believe Dropomatic is being used to infringe your rights or to break the law, contact us with the details and we will investigate.
